Gianolio is located in the heart of Piedmont. They're a a small, family-run winery founded by Bartolomeo Gianolio in 1930 producing a very limited amount of quality wines for his family restaurant and select customers. Today, brothers Davide and Igor continue the legacy that was passed down by their father and winery namesake, Tomaso Gianolio. They work closely with the grape growers, demanding rigorous pruning and cluster thinning, and later harvests to improve ripeness. The same attention to detail is then applied to the winemaking process.

A wonderfully elegant and decadent fine red wine. This wine is rustic and traditionally Italian. You'll taste bright red fruits like cranberries and cherries in this bottle, with subtle undertones of Italian herbs and spices, tobacco and liquorice

Any rich and hearty Italian dishes will work perfectly with Gianolio's Barolo. Leave it open for 30-60 minutes for the wine to breathe and open up those wonderfully savoury aromas.
